Dr. Angela Mornane
Angela holds a PhD in Education and a Masters of Education Counselling and Guidance and has over twenty-five years experience in the education and counselling field. Angela’s research and practice has focused on building resilience and wellbeing among children, adolescents and adults. She has presented and published her research in counselling and education journals.
Angela has had extensive experience working with students, families and agencies as a student welfare coordinator and teacher in secondary schools, university lecturer and student advisor and a counsellor in private practice. For the past 18 years Angela has worked at Monash University teaching counselling and teaching to Masters of Education and Masters of Counselling students. During this time she was also the Onshore and Offshore student adviser often teaching in Singapore and Hong Kong with a diverse group of students. Angela’s degree in Horticulture has also led to a lifelong passion for plants, animals and sustainable environments and she uses Nature Therapy as part of her counselling practice.
Working with retired racehorses that have been retrained as therapy horses, Angela has been able to include them as part of her counselling practice. Using both contemporary and creative therapies such as Equine Assisted Therapy, Play Therapy, Nature Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Mindfulness are key aspects of her counselling approach.

Catherine McGreal
Catherine is a Creative Arts Therapist with a Graduate Diploma in Therapeutic Art Practice. In addition to her BA in Interior Design, she now combines horses and using a multi modal arts discipline within Equine & Arts Assisted Therapy.
Her work is informed by her multi modal arts therapy and is experientially based incorporating horses, time & space and creative expression for healing within a safe nature environment.
Catherine has worked extensively alongside children and adults and believes the creative arts process is beneficial for wellbeing in that it promotes self-awareness, self-esteem and reduces stress.
At Red Hill Farm Therapies, Catherine works alongside an enthusiastic, likeminded team incorporating an all -inclusive creative arts practice and drawing from her experiences with horses, expressive arts and nature for healing to occur within a natural and safe environment.
Catherine is also planning to complete her Masters in Narrative Therapy this year.Kell

Equine Therapeutic Support Service Program Manager
Kelly Edwards
Kelly has worked alongside retired racehorses as a program manager for a mental healthcare organisation in the past, partnering with the horses, a team of psychologists, occupational therapists & counsellors. Kelly has developed programs, retrained the horses & facilitated programs for children, teens, adults & corporates, promoting positive mental health, educating on equine welfare & environment, creating a learning environment that supported self-awareness & a calmness through mindfulness workshops & equine therapeutic practices.
Horses have always been a love of hers and has played a huge part in her life…
Kelly’s career has led her to working with horses in an interesting way, as by qualification she is a multidisciplined healthcare professional. Kelly first registered as a nurse in 2001 and has qualifications in allied health and the wellness sectors within healthcare. She has had many accolades throughout her career and has won awards on two consecutive occasions while working with the largest healthcare network in Australia, Monash Health, in relation to her role for innovation and abilities in corporate networking. Kelly has also several years experience working with horses in riding schools, clinics & workshops.
Combining Kelly’s great love of horses with her love of health, wellness & mindfulness, this provides a gift incredibly special to all of those lucky enough to enjoy working within this space with her.
